The St. Galler Tagblatt newspaper has reported on Swissatest's new soiling facility. Journalist Thomas Griesser Kym visited the site in St. Gallen and spoke with Swissatest CEO Christian Portmann and his designated successor Günter Butscher about the new soiling facility, its role in the production of standardized test materials, and the use of these test textiles in quality assurance.

The article, entitled “Heute fahren wir Schweineblut” (Today we're running pig's blood), shows how Swissatest is setting new standards in efficiency, automation, and sustainability with its new 9-meter-long soiling machine. The test strips are used worldwide – among other things for performance and energy efficiency testing of washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers.

We would like to thank the St. Galler Tagblatt and Thomas Griesser Kym for their interest and for visiting us in St. Gallen.
